John performs deep research on power tools and writes and formats the articles, I work as the webmaster keeping the site running smoothly and creating the site design work and the marketing.

About Kelly M

I am a keen webmaster and graphic designer, I have experience running online retail businesses and really enjoy working on the technical side of Tool Inspector.

I started Tool Inspector and it is my baby. I also love DIY and home decor and can often be found at home working on one of my DIY projects like building a shed or replacing the fence.

You will see John’s name at the bottom of every article as he has the experience to write about power tools with his massive head… I mean experience in working with them on a daily basis so I get him to write for free which is a great deal… for me.

I am the unseen hero of the site working away in the background keeping it all running nicely and making sure the quality is kept to a high standard.

About John L

I am a qualified sparky (electrician) who has been in the industry for 20+ years and before going to college to obtain my qualifications in electrical installations I was a joiner’s mate, a plumbers assistant, a semi-skilled pipefitters mate, a building site laborer, a semi-skilled welders mate and I even spent 3 years operating 100 ton mobile cranes on the docks.

So I have used pretty much every power tool you can think of. In my time spent in these trades, I learned how to use power tools the correct way and the difference between a quality power tool and a poor one.

I also picked up a lot of knowledge on the features of power tools that can make tasks easier and which brands are high quality and up to the work and which ones have reliability issues.

I will use all my experience to help you pick the very best power tool for the work you need it for and also help people who are on a tight budget to find a power tool that won’t give up the fight after a few uses and will be capable of completing the work it was purchased to do.

You will not be left with buyers remorse if you follow my guides because I spend a lot of time digging deep into each product and even test them myself whenever possible.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have on power tools and I will get back to you as soon as I can normally the same day.
